Up the stairs to freedom.
Viv loves to walk around the house barefoot (or, shoeless, but with socks). Starting this week, the barefoot habit is ending at school. Viv starts in the Toddler class this week and we were told she'll need to wear shoes in the classroom. So, off we went for our first shoe shopping adventure! The thrill quickly wore off after they measured Viv's feet. She's so tiny that they didn't have any winter (closed toe) shoes left in her size. I was left with two options. I bought them both because - well, don't all girls need multiple pairs of shoes?
Her everyday "sneaks." I loved the Nikes but apparently the smallest size is a 5 and Viv is a 3. So, these instead. Pearlized. Now that's style.

Sunday we went to the Martins. My cousin Josiah let me watch while he played with his truck. I was content to eat his play people.
