Viv loves to play with her baby doll stroller. Its just that her idea of playing with the stroller is that she sits in the stroller while we push her up and down the hallway.

Construction Update - Phase II

The new widows are installed - just in time for the cold weather.
The side window has disappeared.

Here are the before picture of Baby's room. For the past 8 years its been used as a TV/office. It does not have a closet or a door. (Excuse the water spots on the camera lens - not sure how that happened.)
We're having this corner window bricked up and having a closet built into this corner area.

We're replacing these original windows with new energy efficient windows.

Construction Update

The basement is finally nearing completion. They just have a few more finishing touches and the stairs to do. Next, the baby's room and then the kitchen.

Please Touch Museum

Viv and I spent some Mommy-Daughter time at the Please Touch Museum on Monday. A year ago, Viv couldn't reach this water exhibit!

Making progress.

Interesting tidbit: The same week we were digging out our basement, another house about 2 blocks away was digging out theirs. The contractors at that house found at least 6 human remains in the basement. The graves are thought to be well over 100 years old. They had to call in archeologists from Penn to excavate the site. They think it might have been an unknown cemetary but they haven't ruled out foul play yet. Talk about a major delay in the home renovation project!

What To Do In The Bitter Cold

Its been bitterly cold here. When we travel outside, Viv is in full cold weather gear.
Her cold weather gear includes her backpack :)

To stay warm, we took Viv to the Adventure Aquarium this weekend. Here she is in the Shark Tunnel.

Look! Its Scuba Santa! He's taking some vacation time at the Aquarium.

Viv enjoyed touching the baby Tiger Sharks. Two fingers only!

New Year's Day started with a celebratory Pajama Brunch with friends Miles
and Graham.

We ended New Year's Day with a visit from Ivy.

Pajamas all day long. Now that's a great day!
