Happy 90th Birthday Meme!

Last Sunday we celebrated Meme's 90th birthday. Meme used to be mom-mom but now that my mother is Viv's mom-mom, my mom-mom wanted a new name. So Meme was born!

A-Day

Last Saturday we took Viv to A-Day. A-Day is a Doylestown tradition; the students of the local college throw an agricultural fair for the enjoyment of the town. It features lots of animals. Here's a photo of Viv checking out...

Sunny Day

Our California cousins are in town. Saturday we took them for a walk to the Parkway and Logan Square.

Viv got a balloon at the nearby Free Library Festival.

Shopping

I've mentioned before that Viv loves to go to the grocery store. Here she is rushing to get the shopping bags for a trip to the store.

Can We Go Outside Now?

Viv loves to walk to the front door and point.
We've learned that the walking and pointing at the door means that Viv wants to go outside. Especially when she gets vocal as well.

Happy Easter

We went to Mechanicsburg this weekend to celebrate Easter with Nana Porter and the Martins. The Martins had an Easter Egg hunt. Viv wasn't sure why we were urging her to pick things up from the ground when we're normally telling her not to pick up things laying on the ground.
Of course, some of the eggs were off the ground from the start.

Luckily, Viv's Daddy was available to help retrieve those high eggs.

We wore red today to support the Phillies on Opening Day.
It was so nice outside we took Viv to the Azalea Garden in Fairmount Park.
