A Morning With Friends

Last weekend we met friends at the Zoo. It was already hot at 9:30 am. The Hippos decided to get into their pool to cool off. Its so interesting to watch them walk over to their pool.
The second Hippo was impatient and moved the first Hippo along.

Once in the water the Hippo decided he wanted a drink of water... or maybe he was just posing for a photo.

Another Swan Boat ride... this time I made Jeff sweat it out in the boat.

Dinner time

Waiting for dinner at the beach last week.

I think Elli knew her dinner wouldn't be coming until much later.

Cape May

Thursday we went to Cape May, NJ for a spur of the moment, 2 day, vacation.
Elli enjoyed her view of the water.

Thankfully, Viv still loves the beach and sand.

Next year we hope they will be playing together.

Running through the sprinkler kept Viv cool last weekend.
She convinced her Daddy to join her.

Keeping Cool In The Heat

We spent some time last weekend at a new pool. Lots of cool water.

Viv's been putting her face in the water.

She really loves the pool.

Elli prefers the shade.

Quakertown

Saturday we went to Quakertown to visit friends.

Viv had fun in the pool.

She had plenty of balls to play with as well.
