Ms. Melinda

Today was Elli's last day in the infant room. Elli (and I) will really miss Ms. Melinda, Elli's teacher.

Happy Easter

We spent Easter with Nana Porter and the Martin clan. Elli checked out her cousins' training razor.

Viv had lots of fun with her cousins. We took photos of the girls with Nana outside of church but, unfortunately, there were random children running through them. We'll have to look for a less popular photo site next year.

Cupcake Party

Yesterday we had a small cupcake party for Elliana to celebrate her 1st birthday.

I made two of my favorite flavors - Coconut and Red Velvet. I made a Yellow Buttermilk flavor for the small party guests.

Viv let Elli play with the ribbons once Viv opened her gifts. Wasn't that nice of Viv?

Elli didn't like the icing but she enjoyed the cake. That was perfect for Viv - she eats the icing but not the cake!

She wasn't happy when she went from a photo session on the floor to her highchair.

The candle on the birthday cupcake made her happy. Its hard to believe its been one entire year since Elli came into our lives. She's such a sweet girl.

Opening Day - also known as April Fools

We came back from Florida early in order to go to the Phillies home opener.

It was freezing!

Spring Break

Last Saturday we left for St. Pete Beach, FL.

The Clearwater Marine Aquarium rescued this 7 month old dolphin in December. This is Viv "touching" the baby dolphin.

Elli checked her out too.

We went to the Phillies last Spring Training game. We were able to see a few innings before the rain began.

We also took a day trip to DW.

Viv and Elli both loved the pools at the hotel.

One day Viv spent almost 6 hours in the pool!

Elli spent almost as much time in the water.
