Making progress.
Interesting tidbit: The same week we were digging out our basement, another house about 2 blocks away was digging out theirs. The contractors at that house found at least 6 human remains in the basement. The graves are thought to be well over 100 years old. They had to call in archeologists from Penn to excavate the site. They think it might have been an unknown cemetary but they haven't ruled out foul play yet. Talk about a major delay in the home renovation project!

Human remains?! Only in Philly.
Unfortunately, the workers didn't realize they were bones until after they had already dumped some at the landfill. Not exactly the ideal location for a final resting place.
